Olmesartan Medoxomil
Holm 20 (olmesartan medoxomil) is an oral angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) containing olmesartan medoxomil 20 mg, a prodrug that is converted to olmesartan during gastrointestinal absorption. It lowers blood pressure by selectively blocking angiotensin II (AT1) receptors, helping blood vessels relax and reducing the vasoconstrictor effects of the renin–angiotensin system.
