Esru® 20
Esomeprazole
Esru (Esomeprazole Magnesium) is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) and the S-isomer of omeprazole, formulated as enteric-coated, delayed-release tablet/capsule pellets to protect the drug from stomach acid and allow intestinal release. It suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase (proton pump) in gastric parietal cells, providing effective acid control for conditions such as GERD/erosive esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease (including NSAID-associated ulcers), and as part of H. pylori eradication regimens.
